What is First Friday Hop? On the First Friday of every month, many local art galleries, shops, boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment hot spots stay open for extended hours. They will offer specials, sales, refreshments and live music.

Explore the 40+ unique boutiques, artists, galleries, eateries and more along the First Friday Hop route!

Parking is free on the street after 6 p.m. and You can catch a ride with TARC, BIRD or LIME scooters, LouVelo or just walk to all the main hop locations. Louisville also offers a variety of ride-sharing options for getting around to each gallery.

This a free, family-friendly event coordinated by the Louisville Local community.

Louisville Local is making some major updates!

For the last ten+ years our community has operated a wide variety of amazing Louisville events and community resources like Día de Muertos – Day of the Dead, First Friday Hop, Louisville Arts and many more groups for the Louisville Local community. This year, we have decided to streamline our efforts and combine all of our separate event pages under our main group, Louisville Local, so you can get everything you need all from one place! This allows our volunteers to save time, and it helps us connect our community seamlessly. This also opens us up to adding more local leaders to our editor’s group so watch for updates as we receive approval from Facebook.
